2007, Cerasuolo Rose, **NEW ARRIVAL** Our award-winning rose is back and it’s as wonderful as ever, with good freshness in ‘07. Deep cherry colour, a ripe nose of summer pudding fruit, then ripe red cherry, raspberry and strawberry fool fruit and refreshing acidity.
I first joined the wine trade in 1978 and spent my formative years learning from some great palates who used to supply the good and the great in Cambridge and Oxford. After many an adventure I ended up at La Reserve as wine buyer, for a time this small independent chain had one of the finest selections in the country. In the spring of 2004 I decided that the time was right to go my own way and formed Ten-Acre Wines. |
